The J Team synopsis:
Jojo’s life turned upside-down when her beloved dance coach retires. A sparkle-hating drill sergeant instructor named Poppy replaced her. Jojo soon realizes that she cannot hide her sparkle – let alone her bow – so they kicked her out of the dance team!
Unable to convince her best friends to join her, Jojo forms a new team with an eclectic group of athletes. As ‘The J Team,’ they create a routine for the State Dance Competition, which gets sabotaged by Poppy. Jojo pulls through and shows anything is possible if you believe in yourself. Never compromise who you are… and always show your sparkle!

She has learned more than she knew about JoJo and herself, as well as all the hard work that goes into being a singer and dancer. JoJo is an influential celebrity for her and her friends. I’m happy she has a young woman who has great connections with her fans, and has found success with her message through music.
I love the positive feel, friendly messages, and vibes this movie gives out. It is uplifting and encouraging to watch JoJo strive for excellence and never lose her sparkle. The movie relays the message of perseverance and finding something better to celebrate. Kids that are struggling can watch this movie and say, hey I can do whatever it is they can’t, since JoJo did it herself.
